May 11, 2018 – Fox canceled the TV Show
Following declining audiences, the channel decided not to renew Lucifer for a season 4.
Tom Ellis announced the bad news on his Twitter account.
It has been the most amazing experience over the past 3 years playing Lucifer and falling in love with you, the fans. It fills me with great sadness to confirm the rumours that some of you have been asking. Fox has indeed cancelled #lucifer I’m so sorry guys. #gutted

The fans mobilization to save Lucifer
The Lucifans ignited on Twitter and the hashtags #SaveLucifer and #PickUpLucifer were tweeted more than 4 millions times.
The actors, writers, producers and the whole team also reacted. Tom Ellis did a lot and gave several interviews to try to find a new broadcaster.
Many articles have been created on the web as well as a petition that has collected more than 270,000 signatures.

June 15, 2018 – Netflix acquires Lucifer
The good news has been announced and it is the Streaming service that will offer us a Season 4!
Tom Ellis wanted to leave a video message to thank the Lucifans on BBC.
